Shakti Mentoring Program
About the Program
Shakti is designed to help women professionals restart their careers after a break, usually due to caregiving or personal reasons. This three-month mentoring program pairs a mentee with a mentor who focuses on assisting women looking to restart a data-related career. Once matched, the mentor and mentee meet at a mutually agreed-upon schedule, focusing on topics that help the mentee start or advance her career.

We're committed to supporting your transition to your desired career in every way possible. As a participant in our program, you'll enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, including:
- Expert Mentorship: You'll be paired with an experienced mentor who has industry experience in technology, including data field, providing guidance and support throughout your journey.
- Upskilling: You'll gain access to DataCamp and other related courses from our learning and development partners, allowing you to learn and upskill at your own pace.
- Networking Opportunities: You'll attend in-person meetups where you can connect with the WiBD India community, build your professional network, and work on your personal brand.
- Certification: Upon successful completion of the program, you'll receive a completion certificate from WiBD India, recognizing your achievements and commitment to your career development.
- Job Referrals: Upon successful completion of the program, we'll provide job referral assistance to available opportunities in our network.
How it Works:
- Mentoring Format: Virtual meetings, minimum 2 meetings per month and at least 6 meetings in 3 months
- Duration: 3 months
- Registration: Rolling enrollment
- Language: English
- Time Zone: India Standard Time (IST)
- Nationality: Indian Residents only
Participant Program Fee:
A non-refundable program administration fee of 2999 INR (all inclusive) will be charged to join the program. The selected participant must pay the program fee within 2 days of being confirmed as selected.

A: The program is designed to help you upskill and become market-ready, but it does not guarantee job placements. However, you will have opportunities to network with industry professionals, which can support your job search.
Q: As a mentee, will my mentor teach me specific technical skills?
A: Your mentor will provide guidance, recommend resources, and clarify any doubts. However, they will not teach hard skills or assist with project completion. Think of your mentor as a guide who helps you find the best path to achieve your goals.
Q: As a mentee, will my mentor provide professional recommendations?
A: Mentors are there to support your career transition, but they are not obligated to provide recommendations.

Returners bring a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives, and a strong commitment to success. They are highly motivated to prove themselves and can fill critical talent gaps in your team.

Returners from the program are skilled in a variety of tech-functional roles and can fill roles, including software development, web/ mobile application development, cloud computing, full stack development, data analysis, SAP Functional, pre-sales, customer support, marketing analytics, program or project management, revenue operations and many data rich roles across industries. We work with you to match the mentee to the available positions in your company.
