Developing leaders in Data Science and related fields

The Mentoring Program offered by WiBD India aims to guide and nurture future leaders in tech. We strive to offer the right platform for mentoring aspiring women by associating them with current leaders in the tech field. We believe that this program resonates with our mission statement of improving women representation in data and its allied fields.

We are happy to announce the first cohort of the program between Bhavya Jha, VP – Strategy & Business Analysis at Moodys and Akila Gollapalli, Technical Program Manager at Intel Corporation.

Bhavya has always been an active advocate of women in STEM and data. She is joining WiBD India as an expert to work closely with the team and share her expertise to encourage women to take up careers in data and allied fields.

Akila Gollapalli is a Software Program Manager at Intel Bangalore, with the Ethernet Platform group within the Data Platform group. She has recently taken up this new role and will be handling the software deliverables for some key IPs going into some upcoming and innovative Data centre products.

Each member is throughly screened and only if the eligibility criteria for both mentor and mentee is satisfied a cohort is formed. Depending on the field/s in which the mentee needs mentoring, an appropriate expert will be assigned.

Through this program we intend to build a platform that brings together Mentor and Mentee.
